Somewhere In My Memory

From the 1990 movie Home Alone, this music is by the composer John Williams.  The song melody is featured throughout the film in different fragments.  Somewhere in my Memory was nominated for the Academy Award for Best Original Song and the Grammy Award for Best Song Written for Visual Media.  Singing music from a film score can elevate the worth of a piece in the eyes of children.  The movie gives them a context for the music and the words and therefore a way into making the music theirs.
