"Thirty Days hath September" or "Months of the Year"

Grade 1-3 Choir
It has always been an annoyance that my children were well into their teens before they began to know how many days were in each calendar month.  I remember learning this little ditty earlier on in my life.  So here is a great way to begin to teach this.  Most songs about the months ONLY have the months of the year, not how many days are in each month as well.

This music is from: Harlequin: 44 Songs Round the Year, first pubd. 1981 by A&C Black, reprinted 1983, 1987, 1991 and 1995.
ISBN: 0-7136-2155-9.  There is also a words only edition.
This is not the most 'tuneful' arrangement!!

Learning:
Sung in 6/8
Singing with instruments: Triangle, Indian Bell
Guitar chords: G, A7, D, B7, Em, Am, C
Doh-re-me friendly

Words:
Thirty days hath September
April, June and November
All the rest have thirty-one
Excepting February alone
Which hath twenty-eight days clear
And twenty-nine in each leap year.
