1831 - After the third conference of the Church Joseph Smith received D&C 39. This revelation was for James Covill instructing him to be baptized. Formerly, James Covill was a Baptist minister.
1841 - The Nauvoo Lyceum is established by Joseph Smith. The first MTC, it was designed to be a theological school that would prepare missionaries for their service.
1842 - Joseph Smith opens the Red Brick Store in Nauvoo. It served as Joseph's official office, but was also the site of the organization of Relief Society, and where the endowment was presented for the first time in this dispensation.
